Naga Panchami is a traditional day of worship of the panchami nag (or Naja or Naga) or snake which is observed by Hindus, Jains, and Buddhists throughout India, Nepal, and other countries where Hindus, Jains, and Buddhists. Worship is performed on the fifth day of the bright half of the month of Shravana (July/August), according to the Hindu calendar.
